1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BriefMe ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
BriefMe is an AI-powered meeting preparation tool that connects to your calendar, email, and document services to generate one-page briefs before meetings. The Service uses OpenAI's GPT-4o to process your data and generate meeting briefs.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to use BriefMe.
- You must sign in with a valid Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- One person may not maintain more than one free account.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Free tier: Includes 5 meeting briefs per month at no cost.
Pro plan (€12/month): Unlimited briefs plus additional features as described on the pricing page.
Team plan (€49/month): Unlimited briefs for up to 10 team members.
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings — cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to process or generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' privacy
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service in ways not permitted by these Terms
- Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
- Use the Service in ways that could damage, disable, or impair it
- Circumvent any usage limits or access controls
6. Google Data & Third-Party Services
By connecting your Google account, you grant BriefMe read-only access to your Google Calendar, Gmail, and Google Drive to generate meeting briefs. This access is governed by our Privacy Policy. You can revoke this access at any time via Google Account Settings.
Brief generation involves sending relevant calendar, email, and document context to OpenAI for AI processing. By using BriefMe, you consent to this data transfer as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The BriefMe application, its design, and underlying technology are owned by BriefMe and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you provide (calendar events, emails, documents). The AI-generated briefs are yours to use — we claim no ownership over brief content.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. AI-generated meeting briefs may contain inaccuracies — always verify important information before relying on it in professional settings. BriefMe is a preparation tool, not a substitute for your own judgment.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BriefMe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we'll notify active users by email.
